Local Psycho – The Hurdy-Gurdy Song SOLID SLATE LOGIC Mix

Local Psycho, a unit of Jimmy Caut and former member of The Pogues Jem Finer, released the single ‘Hurdy-Gurdy’ on Heavenly Records in 2023, followed by a remix The first release was a 12’ vinyl of the song “Hurdy-Gurdy” on Heavenly Records in 2023.

To celebrate the first anniversary of the release, a special edition was produced: a very heavy 12’ record, hand-carved from a 50 million year old stone slab. The surface of the wooden packaging is silk-screened with artwork written by Jimmy. However, we do not recommend placing this on a turntable as it could destroy it.

Jimmy Cautと、ザ・ポーグスの元メンバー Jem Finer によるユニットLocal Psychoは、2023年にHeavenly Recordsからシングル”Hurdy-Gurdy”をリリースし、その後リミックスの12インチレコードをリリースしました。

リリース1周年記念として、その特別版を制作。5000万年前の石板を使い手彫りで12インチのレコードにしたとてもヘヴィーな作品です。木製のパッケージの表面には、Jimmy が書き下ろしたアートワークを使用し、シルクスクリーンでプリントしています。ただし、これをターンテーブルに置くと破壊する恐れがあるのでおすすめはしません。
